"When two hearts meet after being apart for a time, the world fades away as they meet and share the purest of loves. They are invincible at the moment, and that is the magic of their love..."
Underneath the large oak trees draped with Spanish moss and thriving greenery of those hot and humid summers on Johns Island, SC Lauren and Al frolicked together as young kids. Lauren and Al met around the age of 6 when Lauren lived in South Carolina with her grandmother. Al's cousin and Lauren were good friends so they would all play together.
The two stayed in touch when Lauren left Charleston and moved back to New York City.
The two reconnected after high school when she moved back to Charleston and like it is commonly stated, "The rest was history".

There was also a connection between Lauren and Al, so Al decided it was time for him to make his move and make Lauren his wife.

Soooo... Al took Lauren into Downtown Charleston for an evening together and they ended up at the famed pineapple fountain. Al told Lauren that they needed to talk, just the two of them. They discussed their blended family and their relationship, which led to the proposal! On the evening August 16, 2015 their worlds changed and it was perfect!

When I first meet with my couples I always ask, "When did you know that your he/she was the one?"
This is what Lauren and Al had to say:
What's your favorite thing about your fiancé?
Al : That she naturally beautiful. She allows me to be a man and she is very supportive and understanding.
Lauren: I love that he is hardworking, is hands on, and that he makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world.

What are you looking forward to when it comes to your wedding day?
Al: Saying I do and watching her come down the aisle.
Lauren: I can't wait to see his face when he sees me and I look forward to saying, "I do".

I had a blast capturing these two during their engagement session and I can’t wait for their wedding at Alhambra Hall later on this week!
Enjoy capturing your memories!
LOVE>PEACE+LIGHT,
Sirena
