The love of your life can be right in your front of your face and you look right pass them until that perfect moment where all of the stars align! Well, that was the case for Kristan + Sherard.
Kristan + Sherard met in high school when they attended the same church. They didn't talk much until they met again at a college gathering in January 2006. That's when the sparks flew and they really started to connect and get to know one another.
They shared similar values, so it was very easy for them to get along.
After several years of long distance dating Sherard decided it was time to take the next step and make Kristan his wife!
The proposal took place in their home church - Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church (Downtown Charleston) because that is the cornerstone of how they met and their relationship.
Before service ended, Sherard stopped service to give his testimony make his move.
When I first meet with my couples I always ask, "When did you know that your he/she was the one?"
This is what Kristan and Lauren had to say:
What's your favorite thing about your fiancé?
Sherard: "She is always looking out for my best interests and keeps a smile on her face."
Kristan: "He is very caring, family-oriented, and selfless."
What are you looking forward to when it comes to your wedding day?
Sherard + Kristan: "Just a great celebration with family and friends!"
I had a blast capturing these two during their engagement session and I'm looking forward to
capturing more of their love story this Sunday at Charles Towne Landing as they celebrate their union with their family and friends!
