"Marriage is like fine wine; when properly tended to, love grows deeper and stronger."

It is said that Facebook ruins relationships and that with social media, either you don't know what you're getting or you know too much. Well, this was not the case for Ronisha + James.

Ronisha + James met through mutual friends on Facebook. James sent Ronisha a Facebook message in 2010 and she replied. They finally met face to face and that was it! Two years later, a friendship between the two of them surfaced and here they are today...GETTING MARRIED!

How did the proposal take place?

Ronisha celebrated her 25th birthday on August 13th of last year. She had a kickback with all of her close friends and family members at her place. Prior to getting on the party bus to continue her birthday celebration, James decided that everyone should take a shot. So as they are about to take the shot, Brian McKnight started playing and James started saying some words while kneeling down on his knee! (She doesn't recall anything he said because she went into shock) He popped out the ring then popped the question!

She said YES!

The next day she asked him what he said and he said "I was too nervous and don't know what I said either".

When I first meet with my couples I ask them a series of questions to get to know them better and capture their love authentically. Below are a few questions I asked Ronisha + James and I loved what they had to say about one another! See below!

What's your favorite thing about your fiancé?

James: "I love Ronisha's strong attitude."

Ronisha: "I love James' ambition about life and his ability to deal with my attitude."

What are you looking forward to when it comes to your wedding day?

James + Ronisha: "Just a great celebration and uniting families!"

I had a blast capturing these two during their engagement session and I'm looking forward to

capturing more of their love story today at Alhambra Hall as they celebrate their union with their family and friends!

LOVE>PEACE+LIGHT,

Sirena
