Bride + Bridemaids + Spa = A Whole Lot of Fun

Yay! So, you're engaged!

You have a hundred and one things running through your mind about your wedding day and everything leading up to it. Most of all you are wondering what you are gonna do with your girls to celebrate your love and journey into a new life of holy matrimony?

Bachelorette parties in a spa and/or salons are becoming increasingly popular, and it's no mystery why. In a world of constant hustle any relaxation and quiet moments are definitely a must! A spa day is for relaxing and pampering and you can even go all out and include signature cocktails and desserts.

If you need some inspiration and help with planning your bridal shower or bachelorette spa party then check out the following tips:

1) The Guest List

An ideal bridal shower or bachelorette party at a spa or salon should consist your bridesmaids and close friends (just a little note: the smaller group the better).

2) Location is Everything

Decide on the location in which you would like to go. There are some spas that also offer manicure and pedicure stations in additional to spa treatments, but if they don't I would suggest hitting the nail salon salon first. I also strongly suggest calling a ahead an booking a private party so that everyone's service can be done around the same time, which will give you optimum time to bond while you getting beautiful. If you are located in the Charleston area Glow Nail Bar is perfect for bachelorette parties and small get togethers and you can sip on some bubbly while you get your pedicure or manicure. Stroll below to see some images of this beautiful salon below.

3) Assume the Attire + Pass the Gifts

Cute matching robes are always a good idea. Like these cute satin robes from ChezBlanc! Oh, and don't forget some cute sequin hangers like the ones below from LivLane Events! Also, cute party favors are a must! Bath salts, handmade soaps, scrubs, and perfume make the perfect gifts for a pamper party!

4) Don't forget the good eats!

Food is essential to any gathering and a party is all about the food and having a good time. So your bachelorette party or bridal shower is no different. A light and simple selection works best with a space party. I strongly suggest small finger sandwiches and cute desserts along with some cocktails to wash everything down. Swank Desserts created some delectable macarons, hand pies, and brown butter blondies for use to enjoy at our pamper party.

5) Turn your phone off!

Use this time to bond with your girls and make new memories - those emails and texts can wait. You can even hire a photographer like me to capture these candid moments and use the images as gifts for your bridesmaids on your wedding day!

Last, but not least...Just have a good time and enjoy your day with your girls! Also, enjoy more images from this fabulous shoot!
